Orlando is home to the University of Central Florida, with more then 47,00 students making it the second largest in the state and the sixth largest in the nation. Other higher education institutes include Valencia Community College, Orlando Tech, Mid-Florida Tech and Florida Technical College. The majority of students are served by the Orange County Public Schools. Some of the larger public schools include Timber Creek High School and Odyssey Middle School. Some of the larger private schools include Trinity Preparatory School, Lake Highland Preparatory School, Bishop Moore High School, Orlando Christian Academy, and Forest Lake Academy.

Orlando and area is full of exciting attractions; Walt Disney World Resort (approximately 20 miles south of Orlando), SeaWorld, Blue Springs State Park and Universal Orlando Resort to name a few. Each summer the city hosts the Orlando International Theater Fringe Festival. This event which features
